There’s nothing we love more than making life just a little bit brighter for our wonderful viewers. When we heard about Laura, an extremely hardworking RN who wanted to make her space more inviting, we knew we had to do something special. Laura is a frontline healthcare worker that’s currently working at a COVID-19 assessment station. She lives in a 2-bedroom condo with her kids but was sleeping on the floor due to the risk of infection and long shifts. She made the tough decision to have her daughter and son live with her parents for the time being.

With the help of designer Amanda Aerin, we gave Laura a complete design plan of how she can incorporate innovative design solutions for her space. But that’s not all, we surprised her by gifting her an entire room thanks to donations from HomeSense and IKEA! When it’s safe to do so, Amanda will be heading over to Lauren’s place to help her set everything up.
