The Program : There is something blissful about the Canadian country side. Just visiting, transports us to a more relaxing place and lifts us out of the hustle and bustle of our busy cities. ‘Country House Hunters’ is a twenty- part TV show that captures the essence and quality of living in Canada.

The television series helps a couple find their perfect country house. They are looking to relocate from the city to a regional, Canadian location. Some to the mountains, others to a farm and some close to the water. Amanda shows them through three houses that suit their specific brief. They will choose one at the end of the show.

Their perfect home can be as individual as the buyers themselves. They may love tiny homes, architectural works of art, a mountain hideaway or even be on the hunt for their very first home. In this series we see it all as we follow our buyer’s personal property journey.

Viewers will also be treated to some breathtaking country scenery and for 30 minutes be transported to the tranquility of country life across Canada.
