These last few months have been a whirlwind of positivity! So many exciting projects have taken place and continue to align themselves beautifully for the New Year, I’m certainly feeling grateful for that. This past year I embarked on a personal journey to commit to more travel because I was feeling like I needed more creative influence in order to push my designs to a new level. Funny how the universe gives what you ask for, I ended up travelling to some truly beautiful destinations this year and connected with remarkable talent.

This brings me to post about my experience at The Avalon Hotel and Bungalows in sunny Palm Springs. If I owned a property-this would be it! The design of the hotel is inspired by the golden age of Palm Springs with timeless Spanish architecture, private villas and personal service. The luxurious rooms feature elements such as private patios or balconies that are discreetly tucked around the lushly landscaped courtyards.

The settings here is almost park like, you feel like a celebrity in a chic hideaway -there are three pools to choose from, all equally beautiful and tranquil.

The Spa at The Avalon Hotelis called Estrella ( meaning “star”) which was actually the original name of the hotel.  One of my favorite rooms in the spa was this pretty yellow space-it seemed to glow with happiness and will surely act as inspiration for a future design project.

One of the beautiful courtyards..

I also have to praise the thoughtful and welcoming staff at this beautiful hotel for greeting me like royalty and happily touring me around the property, this experience truly made me feel like a star and I will absolutely return for a longer stay.

I also want to thank Monocle Project for these lovely photos!

Silver dress is from H&M (last season).

Happy Travels,
