Home Tour and Adding Drama To Your Dining Room
Hi Everyone! In case you missed it here is our client home tour.
Many of you have asked about the countertops from the home tour, they are Chic Statuario from Quartex .
Here are the details from the dining room:
If you have a separate dining room in your home why not consider making it a fun space that you want to show off to your guests.
WALLPAPER
Dine in style and create a memorable dining experience by using boldly printed wallpaper like a bold palm print from Hygge and West as a backdrop. The vibrant palm print feels fresh but you won’t tire of it because it works year round.
ART
Don’t be afraid to layer in unconventional artwork like a custom and affordable piece from Poster Jack to create visual contrast.
ACCENT FURNITURE
Choose accent furniture with a purpose and personality like this boldly hued bar from Mobilia in fushia that offers plenty of storage but is pure eye candy. And this stunning brass sideboard from ELTE in brass is a classic in the making.
LIGHTING
Use secondary lighting like these dark wall sconces from Wayfair to create and highlight an accent point in the space. Then have fun with your main pendent – this showstopper from Mobilia adds some extra glamour above this dining table from Ikea.
CHAIRS
Breakup your traditional dining sets by flanking the dining table with upholstered head chairs in printed fabrics or jewel tones in velvet pair for a statement.
TEXTILES
Something a lot of people don’t think of for dining rooms is accent pillows but they can really add an additional pop of colour. Plus if you get bored of them they are easy to swap out!
DINNERWARE
This is where you can really let your personality shine through. Don’t be afraid to mix and match high & low dinnerware for an eclectic tablescape full of color. We splurged on these gorgeous dinner plates from William Ashley and added some fun touches with additional pieces from Ikea. You will blow people away with your ability to create a tablescape that works all together if you stick to a few key colors that you’ve pulled from the rest of the space.
